Another Trip

We took a trip to Alex's parents to visit for the afternoon. We went prepared to swim in the river. The kids had so much fun, and it was a vary relaxing visit. Ofcoarse I have pictures of this also, just not downloaded to my computer yet. Actually I think I may have left my camera there. I haven't seen it since and realized that is where I took pictures last.

Family reunion

We did go to our anual family reunion I think it was the 27th. Me and the kids drove up that morning with my parents, and drove back. Jeremy and Anna went also. Me, Anthony, Jesse, Andrea, Daniel went into the river with Jeremy, Anna, Riley and Eric. The river was moving really fast, and after Rily cought the first crawdad and Anthony realized where it came from, he was done in the river. I took Anthony back to the group where mom had Ryan, who had woke up from his nap, Anna and Jeremy stayed in the river with the kids and continued to catch the crawdads. When they finally came back they had a bucket full of crawdads, Riley wanted to cook and eat, so thats what they did. Almost Everybody at the camp had to try them. I could'nt. I have pictures, but I think I better ok it with Anna & Jeremy before I post that.

June Birthdays

Alex had a birthday at the beginning of June. I don't know if I even got any pictures of that. Thank you everybody for coming. Alex ofcoarse now wants a sawzall from sears (just like Angie's) that would be my luck - I guess that is what I get for thinking.

Andrea had a birthday at the end of June. I have pictures, just not on my computer yet. She got some really cool stuff and she loves it. Thank you everybody for coming.

What a month of June

The first two weeks in June in the store was incredibly busy, it made me think twice about closing, I had more sales in the first 2 weeks of June then the entire month of April or May. (Too bad is wasn't enough.)

On top of that, I went on a field trip with Andrea to the Lava Caves, that was a lot of fun, I plan to take the boys back this summer (when the walls start getting smaller). She had a lot of fun too, and still talks about it.

I went on a field trip with Daniel to the High Desert Museum, it was wierd, nothing seemed to be planned out, nobody knew anything, and nobody was in charge. I have a feeling that is how his entire first grade year was though. I drove my own car because I had to take Anthony and Ryan with me, so we were able to stay later then the class and I was able to take Daniel to see some of the places that are the main points, like the otters and the birds! I plan on taking all the kids later this summer. The High Desert Museum Usually has a special for kids to get in free. It is normally a really fun place to go.

I also had to plan for Cub Scout Day Camp for the 3rd week in June. I committed last year, not realizing I wouldn't have any boys involved, I assumed Jesse would be helping and Daniel would be finishing Tiger Cubs. It didn't work out for Daniel, his meetings were on Sunday afternoon, and I just counld'nt do that after working all week, that was our only day to stay home and do nothing and everything at the same time. Anyway, I forgot all about Day Camp this year. 3 weeks before day camp, one of the leaders reminded me, oops. I made it happen though. I was in charge of the Tot Lot, which is my favorite place in day camp. Tot Lot is where the other parent voluteers take siblings who are not in Day Camp, basically the childcare. Even through the heat, and choas of Tot Lot, and Day camp, it was still all worthit. Daniel did get to participate in cub scouts, and the theme was space, so now he wants to learn more about space, and whenit comes down to it, I prefer space over dinos. He loves Cub Scouts, at day camp they got to work with pocket knives and shoot guns, and shoot arrows, they also made a time capsule and collected marbles at each station so the last day they were able to teach the kids how to play the game of marbles. He is looking forward to participating in cub scouts when they start up again. I am going to make it happen this year, even if I have to become the leader again.

The 4th week of June I had to finish moving my stuff out of the store and get it painted. It took 4 coats of paint and finally I had to use my expensive kind. I made it white though. I am so glad to be done with that building.

Sick kids

My kids have been sick with the cough yuck. Jesse, Andrea, and Daniel have been coughing so much at night and in the first part of the day, I kept them home the last two days. After lunch though, none of them act like they are sick, but I also certainly don't want to send the sick to school to pass it around. Hopefull by Tuesday they will be well enough to go back to school.

Garage

We have financing to build our Garage. Alex and I are so excited. This is going to make such a big difference with how much room we have in our house.

We have decided to go with the Arx Building (concrete walls), we will get more for our money. Alex knows someone who can help with it. Everything seems to be coming together so easily, almost too easy.

The ULTIMATE game

Ryan was so intense playing the game, He didn't really know what he was doing, and doesn't get the game very often, however this time he wasn't letting go of it.
This just shows how much of an influence kids have on each other.

Dance Recital

My Beautiful Princess ready for Dance Recital

Ranch Dip Anyone?

Ryan loves to eat Ranch Dip, on anything, or all by itself.

The best show on TV

nothing

Ryan found my Old Purse

After a long day of running errands, and grocery shopping, taking Andrea to dance, I think we also did shots that day (notice the bandaids) - Ryan went quiet for a few minutes and came out with my old purse. He was So proud of himself for figuring out to how to carry it around, and this was a fun game ... before someone else noticed.
Learning to unzip the top compartment, he found all kinds of "treasures" left behind. I'm sure he found a stray m&m burried by old reciepts, (I had just changed purses a week prior).
His game was over when somebody else found that he has somthing fun, he grabbed his new toy and ran.

Boton pass-along

Anthony Loves to run the track, in fact he ran as many laps as Andrea, Daniel, and some with Uncle Jeremy and some with Jesse.
The Boton pass-along is a yearly fund raiser that the kids' school does. They use the money raised for things that the school would like to have and would not neccessarily have the funds for.

Daniel is so proud of how many laps he ran/walked.

Andrea loves to help her brothers, even with the most difficult tasks...a stuck zipper.

Jesse ran/walked 18 laps

Andrea ran/walked 11 laps.

Daniel ran/walked 12 laps.

Jesse Walking with Baby Ryan. Even though he really wanted to run with his friends.

He caught up with his friends eventually.

Daniel is in the red shirt ahead of everybody else. He loves to run, and is very fast. He also loves to be first.
